CITY OF BAGUIO (BENGUET)


GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION: It is the only city in the Province of Benguet, which occupies 55 square kilometers of hilly land about 1,500 meters high in the southwestern portion of the Cordillera Central mountain range in Luzon. About 250 kilometers north of Metro Manila. It is bounded on the north by the capital town of La Trinidad, on the East by Itogon and to the South and West by Tuba.

CLIMATE AND WEATHER:  
Subtropical highland climate under the Koppen climate classification. It is very wet during the Philippine rainy season, which is June to October. On November to May, it becomes a tropical paradise, , a refresing break from the hot and humid Phiippine climate.  Christmas season is when Baguio glows with the nippy winter air..
