Letter of Introduction

Request Assistance

The request of SRRV holders to assist them in obtaining basic documents from other government agencies, including but not limited to the following:

  1. Alien Employment Permit (AEP) from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in case of employment in the Philippines;
  2. Conversion of Foreign Drivers License to Philippine Driver's License from the Land Transportation Office (LTO);
  3. Tax Exemption/Extension Certificate from the Department of Finance (DOF) for Customs Duties and Taxes for the one-time importation of household goods and personal effects up to US$7,000.00 which will be availed of within 90 days upon issuance of SRRV; and
  4. Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in case of setting-up a business in the country;

Requirements

  • Duly accomplished AEP Application Form
  • Contract of Employment/Appointment or Board Secretary’s Certificate of election
  • Photocopy of Employer’s Mayor’s Permit to operate business
  • Photocopy of passport with SRRV

If filed by a representative, authorization is required

1. Retiree-member prepares complete documentary requirements Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Servicing Division person in charge assists in the submission of requirements or accompanies retiree member in submission to DOLE No cost with PRA. Fees will be directly paid to DOLE Application Form to be obtained from DOLE

  • Application Form
  • Valid Foreign Driver’s License translated into English
  • Passport biopage with SRRV
  • PRA ID Card
  • First and latest Arrival Stamps
  • Payment at LTO

1. Retiree-member prepares complete documentary requirements Land Transportation Office (LTO) Servicing Division person in charge accompanies retiree to secure Driver’s License at LTO (LTO Main Office in Quezon City only) No cost with PRA. Fees will be directly paid to LTO Application Form to be obtained from LTO

Requirements

  • Duly accomplished Application Form
  • Letter of Intent citing the reason for the need of TIN
  • Passport with SRRV
  • PRA ID Card
  • Personal Appearance at BIR Office - Quezon City
STEP Applicant/Retiree Service Provider Person in Charge Fee PRA Forms/Documents
1. Retiree-member prepares complete documentary requirements Bureau of Intenal Revenue (BIR) Servicing Division person in charge accompanies retiree to apply for TIN at BIR (BIR Main Office in Quezon City only) No cost with PRA. Fees will be directly paid to BIR Application Form to be obtained from BIR

  1. Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)
  2. Duly Notarized Affidavit of Ownership
  3. Bill of Lading
  4. Household Goods Descriptive Inventory / Packing List
  5. Photocopy of Passport with SRRV and ID Card
